Company History

Bud2Aabbots Heating Oil was incorporated on January 16, 1991.  The General Manager is George Mozzachio.   Gwen Shenk manages the office as well as fuel oil devivery dispach and Jacinda Shenk manages Customer Service and Credit Assistant.  You can get to know more about the in office team below.

Aabbots provides heating oil for homes and business throughout Lehigh, Berks, Montgomery, Carbon, Northumberland, Chester, Schuylkill, & Northampton counties.

The principle products and services of Aabbots consist of home heating oil, and kerosene.

In order to efficiently place orders and process them, Aabbots and Bell Atlantic developed a customized phone system allowing a customer calling in to be directed to a local phone, and dispatcher seamlessly.

Sales have been strong due to the discounted pricing as a result of buying fuel on the open market. Aabbots buys on NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange).

The business consists of two separate divisions, retail sales and wholesale. Retail is the home and business delivery system. Wholesale is the purchase of fuel commodities and reselling as the market conditions change.

George came to Mauger in September, 2004 after more than 25 years experience in the petroleum equipment business.  He began in commercial fuel sales which included managing Mauger’s Pacific Pride automated fueling sites.  With George’s expertise an almost immediate increase in sales and decrease in maintenance costs were realized.
In early 2006 a position opened to manage Mauger’s heating oil and lubrication divisions.  George was the first choice.  He continued in that capacity until March, 2008 when the lubrication division was sold.  He became Operations Manager of both Mauger and our sister company, Aabbots Oil Co.
Mauger and Aabbots deliver oil to customers in Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill and Carbon counties.
Gwen Shenk
Gwen has worked for Aabbots Oil Co. since February, 1999 in the customer service area.  Shortly thereafter she also worked assisting the dispatch operation.  This included 12 oil trucks and drivers who, in season, worked almost around the clock to fulfill our customers’ needs.  Gwen now manages the Gilbertsville office of Aabbots Oil Co., and is also responsible for dispatching.
Jacinda Shenk
Jacinda came to work for Aabbots in March, 2007.  She works in customer service in the Gilbertsville office of Aabbots Oil Co.  She also manages special projects such as mass mailings.  Our customer’s have grown to know Jacinda due to her expertise in solving problems and her kind and gentle manner.  Jacinda truly is one of the main reasons for the success of Aabbots Oil.
